Bosnia and Herzegovina’s power utility net profit decreased in 2019

Compared to the net profit of 26.5 million euros recorded in the previous year, Bosnian power utility EPBiH recorded a net profit in the amount of 10.2 million euros in 2019, which is significantly lower.

The company’s operating revenues remained approximately the same as in the previous year, reaching around 510 million euros, while its operating costs increased by 0.7 % to 500 million euros.

At the same time, the company’s expenses on impairment and write-offs of receivables increased to almost 21 million euros in 2019, compared to a little over 4 million euros in 2018.
