Croatia: CROPEX sets new record on intraday continuous market with over 23,000 MWh traded

The Croatian Power Exchange (CROPEX) set a new trading record on its intraday continuous market for the delivery day of 21 May 2025, reaching a total volume of 23,176.3 megawatt-hours (MWh).

Of the total, 20,697 MWh were traded in 60-minute products, while 2,497.3 MWh were exchanged through 15-minute products. This new milestone reflects the increasing participation of market players and highlights the growing importance of the intraday continuous market as a critical tool for balancing the electricity system and optimizing production and consumption.
