Romania, Smart Power Generation Beta to build 48 MW wind farm

Romanian renewable energy developer Smart Power Generation Beta has obtained a permit for the connection to the electricity network of a 48 MW wind farm in Galati.

The project, worth around 38 million euros, is expected to completed and operational by 2026.

Smart Power Generation, equally owned by two Romanian businessmen Manole Gheorghe and Vasile Domente, developed a portfolio of wind farms in Romania with total installed capacity of 650 MW and estimated value of 520 million euros. The majority of its portfolio is located in Moldova region, an area with significant potential for new RES investments.
