Enel Green Power Romania, the local renewable energy subsidiary of Italian Enel, has acquired a 300 MW wind project located in Vaslui county, planned before the phasing off of subsidies for such projects, but never developed.

The transaction consists of Enel Green Power taking over the local wind farm development companies from their shareholders, namely Vaslui Holding BV, a legal vehicle of a Dutch subsidiary of US company General Electric, and the German company Prowind GmbH.
