A new route for setting up the power cable from Montenegro to Italy through the territory of Croatia has not been agreed yet, it was announced from the Ministry of Economy of Croatia, which has denied the media reports that Croatia and Terna in principle agreed a new route for the power cable.
The Croatian Ministry announced that so far they had no new information project of setting the power cable from Montenegro to Italy through Croatian water, and that there were no new meetings with the Italian company Terna.
“We have no new information on this issue for now, so we cannot even confirm them. Therefore, there were no new meetings with representatives of the company Terna”, said a spokesman for the Ministry of Economy Tomislav Cerovec.
He added that representatives of the ministry maintained contact with representatives of Terna.
TERNA manages the Montenegro TSC company CGES as minority owner partner.
