HEP ESCO has opened a €5.3mn tender for the construction of 90 rooftop photovoltaic plants across Croatia. The programme covers operational sites within the HEP group. The procurement is structured as a nationwide rollout of rooftop solar installations.
Regional package breakdown and covered locations
The tender is divided into five regional packages. The Zagreb area and surrounding locations account for about €1.2mn. The largest package is valued at €1.21mn and covers Slavonia, including 20 HEP distribution and HEP Plin facilities.
A smallest package is set at €770,000 and includes multiple technically demanding Dalmatian locations, including hydropower facilities. North-western Croatia has a €1.11mn package covering 15 locations. A further €1.035mn is allocated to 23 sites in Istria, Primorje and Gorski Kotar.
Turnkey delivery, bidding scope and timetable
Successful contractors will deliver turnkey systems, taking responsibility for both design and construction before handing over fully operational installations. Companies can bid for the entire programme or for individual regional packages. Contracts are due to be signed within 90 days of contractor selection.
All installations are required to be completed within 18 months. The tender framework therefore sets both a post-selection contracting window and an overall delivery deadline for the rooftop photovoltaic plants.
