Renewable energy developer Professio Energia and Austrian RP Global have agreed to jointly develop a portfolio of 266 MW in solar projects in Croatia.

The two companies will develop eight solar power plants at locations where Professio Energia already holds licenses for wind farm projects.

RP Global is engaged in solar, wind, hydropower and energy storage projects in Europe and has a pipeline of projects exceeding 10 GW.

In 2022, RP Global said that it plans to develop 500 MW of wind and solar capacity in Croatia in the next five years. Earlier this month, RP Global announced its plans to develop a 100 MW solar project near Sremska Mitrovica in Serbia.
