“BiH Electric Power Industry” achieved a net profit of 4, 6 MEUR in the first half of 2014th, which is 59.3% weaker result than in the previous year when the profit was11, 3 MEUR.
The company achieved operating income of 243, 6 MEUR for the first half of 2014th, which is about 2.5% less than in the previous year when the income amounts to 249, 8 MEUR.
Operating expenses amounted to 235, 7 MEUR and are higher compared to the same period last year when they met in the amount of 227, 2 MEUR.
At higher operating expenses affected the increased material costs and depreciation costs. Salaries and employee benefits, which amounted to 39, 6 MEUR, have been slightly reduced.
“BiH Electric Power Industry” employed 4,915 employees at the end of the first half of 2014th, 10 fewer than in the same period last year.
“BiH Electric Power Industry” has long-term liabilities of 74, 9 MEUR, while current liabilities amounted to 99,8 million KM, of which the largest part goes to the operating liabilities 36, 1 MEUR (advances and deposits, obligations to the suppliers in the country and abroad.
