Slovenian nuclear power plant Krsko produced 84,375 MWh of net electricity in October, which is 0.5% above plan, the plant operator said.

Gross electricity output reached 88,684 MWh in October, Krsko said in a statement.

A total of 4.4 cubic metres of low and intermediate-level radioactive waste was stored in October.

NEK shut down Krsko on October 5, after a leakage was detected in the primary system within the containment structure. The malfunction falls below the specified limit in technical regulations and poses no threat to the safety of employees, the public, or the environment.
