The average weighted price of natural gas on the day-ahead market of regional gas exchange CEEGEX on Sunday, January 21, 2024, amounted to 30.35 euros per MWh. During the working week spot gas prices amounted from 27.35 to 29.66 euros per MWh.
On the CEEGEX within-day market, the last transactions were recorded on January 21 and the price amounted to around 28.26 euros per MWh.
Front-month futures on the ICE market decreased by 0.2% on Friday, closing at 28.485 euros per MWh, while the price for the second quarter of 2024 was 28.7 euros per MWh. CAL 25 reached 32.35 euros per MWh.
