The average electricity bill for Montenegrin households in July 2023 amounted to 37.76 euros. That is 38.5% higher compared to June when it amounted to 27.26 euros, power utility EPCG said in a statement.
The lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Pljevlja municipality – 20 euros, while the highest consumption was in Ulcinj, where the average bill was 64.4 euros.
EPCG said that the households consumed 136.91 million kWh in July, which is 7% more compared to July 2022 and 39.5% more compared to the previous month.
