The average daily traded volume on the day-ahead market in October stood at 19,851.4 MWh.
CROPEX was established on March 11, 2016, in cooperation with Nord Pool, Europe’s leading electricity exchange. It is co-owned by the Croatian electricity transmission system operator (HOPS) and the Croatian electricity market operator (HROTE). The intraday market was launched in April 2017. In June 2018, CROPEX successfully coupled its day-ahead market with the Market Coupling of Central Western Europe (MRC) through the Croatian-Slovenian border.
The drop in trading volume and prices in October reflects the evolving market dynamics, with continued participation from various stakeholders in the Croatian electricity market.
