The Albanian Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has received expressions of interest from two subsidiaries of the Turkish construction company Feka for developing wind farms in the country. Feka’s Albanian renewable energy subsidiary, HTT, plans to construct a 17.1 MW wind farm, while its other subsidiary, OLV, aims to build a 22.8 MW wind farm, both situated near Vau i Dejes in northwestern Albania.

Notably, these projects will be privately financed and will not receive any government incentives. Founded in 1985, Feka has a diverse portfolio, providing construction services across various sectors, including energy, defense, large infrastructure, industry, and residential buildings.
