The average weighted price of natural gas on the day-ahead market of regional gas exchange CEEGEX on the weekend (January 13-14, 2024) amounted to 30.26 euros per MWh. During the working week spot gas prices amounted from 30 to 31.6 euros per MWh.
On the CEEGEX within-day market, the last transactions were recorded on January 13 and the price amounted to around 30 euros per MWh.
Front-month futures on the ICE market decreased by 1.3% on Friday, closing at 31.575 euros per MWh, while the price for the second quarter of 2024 was 31.48 euros per MWh. CAL 25 reached 34.15 euros per MWh.
