The buyer, Bulgaria-based Renalfa Solarpro Group, is enhancing its presence in the region through this acquisition, which reflects ongoing trends in renewable energy investments.
CCE is recognized as an integrated developer and operator of solar and energy storage assets, boasting a development pipeline that exceeds 7.2 GW across Europe and Chile. Renalfa Solarpro Group’s acquisition aligns with its strategy to expand its portfolio of large renewable projects across Central and Eastern Europe.
The international law firm CMS played a crucial role in this transaction, providing comprehensive legal support throughout the deal structuring, negotiation, and execution phases. The closing of the sale is contingent upon customary conditions precedent and is anticipated to finalize by the first quarter of 2026.
In the interim period before the project’s commercial operation, CCE and Renalfa Solarpro Group will collaborate closely under established milestones to ensure effective development and delivery of the project. This cooperative approach aims to maintain continuity and facilitate progress toward completion.
