Oil pipeline operator Janaf has extended a contract for the storage of oil derivatives with the local unit of the Russian company Lukoil.

The deal with Lukoil Croatia expires on December 31, 2026, Janaf said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

In December 2021, Janaf announced an agreement for oil product storage with Lukoil Croatia for the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023.

The Croatian government owns 78.5% of Janaf, who operates terminals for crude oil and oil products located on the Island of Krk, as well as in Sisak, Virje, Slavonski Brod and Zitnjak.
