A record high traded volume of over 51,211.6 MWh was realized on the day-ahead market with delivery day 1 July, said Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX).
The average hourly traded volume was 2,133.82 MW.
IBEX has started electricity trading on 19 January 2016. It was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), later on acquired by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, and was developed in partnership with Nord Pool Spot. Intraday trading segment started on 11 April 2018.
