Compared to 18.5 million euros net profit in the same period last year, Bulgarian state-owned electricity transmission system operator ESO recorded a lower net profit in the amount of 13.9 million euros in 2019. The company’s total operating revenues dropped by 6.1 % to 328.8 million euros in 2019, while its expenditures also fell by 3.8 % to 327.5 million euros. The volume of electricity transported though ESO’s network fell by 14.23 % to 35,379,143 MWh in 2019.
