Bulgaria’s state-owned gas supplier, Bulgargaz, has submitted a proposal for the wholesale natural gas price for June 2026, suggesting a price of approximately €35.62/MWh. This figure represents a modest decline of about 1% from the previously approved May price of around €35.98/MWh. The adjustment follows a notable increase of 4.99% in May compared to April’s pricing.
The proposed price will undergo evaluation and must receive approval from the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR), which is expected to finalize the decision on June 1. This approval process will incorporate feedback from a public consultation that took place at the end of May, ensuring that the final pricing reflects current market dynamics.
