French renewable energy company Voltalia reported that its 140 MW Karavasta solar power plant in Albania produced 258 GWh of electricity in 2024, its first full year of operation. Half of the output is supplied to OSHEE under a 15-year PPA, while the rest is sold to private operators through long-term contracts.
Voltalia has also begun constructing a new 100 MW solar plant in Spitalle.
