From Kolubara mines every day 40 lignite supply rail vagon are being delivered to TENT which produces every day 60 billion Kwh of electricity every day. With this output electricity power delivered to Serbia energy system TENT remains the biggest producer and supplier in Balkans.

– This is one of the most difficult years since TENT power plants are operating. With great efforts we are achieving important results, over plan production results, despite many problems in coal delivery, unloading and burning, stated PetarKnezevic, Director of TENT CE.

The equipment is not designed to work non stop under such extreme weather conditions. For now we are managing all winter effects. Conditions are really hard but we are hoping to overcome this weather extreme situation and to maintain production in order to deliver necessary electricity to our consumers and we are hoping that no black out and restrictions will be needed.

Electricity consumtion in Serbia increases every day. According to weather estimations we are expecting yet the biggest minus. Therefore from biggest electricity producer in SEE and Serbia, the news and assurances on security of supply are important but TENT is also urging the consumers for rational use of electricity.
