The US “Continental Wind Partners” announced that they would start the wind park construction near Kovin, worth 450 MEUR; however, the investment was postponed until the questions on model Contract for electricity purchase and port construction would be resolved.
CWP started cooperation for the wind park of 300 MW with the German company “General Electric” (GE).
– CWP has the construction permit for the wind park and it is made strong construction consortium led by “General Electric. For CWP it is especially important that by this investment we will bring in Serbia a company such is GE and we have great expectations of our cooperation with them. Together with GE, CWP is one of the biggest American – German investments in Serbia. However, as it is case with all the other serious investors, CWP cannot start construction until the Ministry completes its part of the job-says Ana Brnabic, the project manager in “Continental Wind Partners”.
