Serbian Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto announced that a feasibility study for a new oil pipeline between Serbia and Hungary will be finalized by the end of the year, with construction expected to be completed by 2027.
Following their meeting in Budapest, Minister Mesarovic highlighted that discussions centered on energy stability, a key aspect of their strategic cooperation. She also revealed plans for a new electricity transmission line between the two countries, projected for completion by 2028.
Minister Szijjarto emphasized the importance of enhancing economic collaboration between Serbia and Hungary, noting that their existing partnership has ensured a secure energy supply.
