The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has implemented a revised natural gas pricing framework, effective from April 1. This adjustment, sanctioned by the Federal Government, sets the new wholesale price for distribution companies at approximately 441 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, excluding VAT.
This price modification follows a proposal from the importer Energoinvest, which sought a moderate increase in supply prices. The new rate reflects a 4.59% increase from the previous price of around 422 euros per 1,000 cubic meters.
Officials have indicated that this revision is in response to fluctuations in international markets, particularly influenced by updates from Gazprom Export, which also reported a similar 4.59% rise in its pricing coefficient for the upcoming quarter.
Despite the ongoing volatility in European energy markets during early 2026, end-user prices have remained stable. Authorities noted that this latest adjustment is considered a limited correction, ensuring that gas prices remain competitive compared to other European markets.
