North Macedonia: Makpetrol reports 41% increase in net profit for 2024

Macedonian fuel retail company Makpetrol achieved a net profit of €17.9 million in 2024, marking a 41% increase compared to the previous year. Operating revenues rose by 2%, reaching €505.5 million, while operating expenses saw a slight increase of 1%, totaling €487.5 million. Domestic sales grew by 2%, amounting to €478.5 million, while foreign market sales saw a 3% rise, reaching €12.6 million.

In contrast, Makpetrol’s performance in 2023 was less favorable, with a net profit of €12.5 million, which was 40% lower than the previous year. Operating revenues dropped by 19%, totaling €492 million, while operating expenses fell by 18%, reaching €478.8 million. Domestic sales declined by 17%, amounting to €475.5 million, while foreign market sales plummeted by 68%, reaching only €12.5 million.

Makpetrol operates a network of 126 petrol stations across North Macedonia and has expanded its operations into neighboring Serbia and Greece.
