The Managing Board of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) has adopted a development strategy for the period until 2020 in the market of the Balkans, the company announced today.
According to a statement issued by NIS, the strategy envisages that the volume of oil derivatives sales in 2020 amounts to 5 million tonnes, 91% more than in 2010.
Oil refining and production capacities should grow by 75% and 306%, respectively.
According to the adopted strategy, what will contribute the most to a growth of the profit of NIS is the production and sales development.
“The aim of NIS is to develop by 2020 into one of the strongest competitors in the market of South Europe, as well as to be the fastest-growing regional player in the market of the Balkans in terms of production, refining and retailing”, reads the statement.
