The Macedonian Electric Transmission System Operator MEPSO in the previous period has invested 66 MEUR in the constructing of the existing and new energy infrastructure, with the aim of increasing the stability of the electric transmission system.
Company constructed the new 137, 5 kilometers of the transmission line and 385, 3 kilometers were revitalized and reconstructed. The largest investment in the transmission network is the east part of the state, where was realized the construction of the transformer substation Stip, which is near the free economic zone in Stip. It also invested 16 MEUR in the modernization of the operational activities and management by transmission system.
-From the current perspective, the company has operated well and it is not easy when there are many unpredictable situations. It is important that we overcame them and that we have learned something from those mistakes. The numbers show that the company MEPSO achieved much, implemented projects, built and modernized lines and energy objects, reformed, modernized working processes- pointed out the general director of the Company, Sinisa Spasov.
