The Supervisory Board of Croatian state-owned oil transportation company JANAF has appointed Stjepan Adanic as a new CEO for a four-year term.
Adanic has been acting CEO of JANAF since September 2020, when the company’s previous CEO Dragan Kovacevic was dismissed in a corruption scandal.
JANAF generated total revenues in the amount of 50.5 million euros in the first half of 2021, which is almost 5 % higher than planned, thus continuing the successful business period. Operating revenues accounted for 99.5 % of total revenues in the first half of the year.
JANAF operates 631 kilometers of oil pipeline in Croatia and owns several oil terminals, with total storage capacity of 1.94 million cubic meters of oil and 220,000 cubic meters of petroleum products. Croatian state holds 52 % stake in the company.
