According to the latest data published by the Aggregated Gas Storage Inventory (AGSI), Bulgaria’s sole underground gas storage facility at Chiren is 82.19 % full at the moment, up from an EU average of 77.81 %.
On 1 November 2022, the EU average gas storage inventory was 94.95 % of capacity. At that time, the occupancy level of Chiren gas storage was 90.41 %.
