Natural gas importer Energoinvest has requested a 1.4% reduction in the price of natural gas for tariff customers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) for the last quarter of the year. This reduction comes as regional gas prices are projected to rise by as much as 30%.

Energoinvest’s director, Mirza Ustamujic, emphasized that this price cut aims to provide stability and favorable conditions for both consumers and the economy during these challenging times. The company recognizes the pressures of inflation and rising costs, and it is committed to minimizing their impact on end users.

If the Federal Government approves the request, the new price for natural gas will be approximately €0.413 per cubic meter, with the adjustment set to take effect on October 1, 2024.
