KfW Entwicklungsbank, part of KfW Bankengruppe, approved a credit line of 11 million euros ($15 million) for UniCredit SpA (UCG)’s unit in Serbia for lending to municipalities in the Balkan country that need infrastructure financing.
The amount is part of KfW’s Municipal Infrastructure Credit Line Project, mainly for smaller municipalities, and it will be followed by “special incentives for investments in energy efficiency” in the near future, the banks said in a statement posted on Unicredit Srbija AD’s website yesterday.
