According to the European Union Envoy Johann Sattler, the EU has allocated 70 million euros for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) from its energy support package.
Sattler said that the majority of these funds will be disbursed over the next two months to support vulnerable consumers and help companies improve energy efficiency.
Of the 70 million euros available to BiH through the Energy Support Package, 50 million euros will be available at the end of this month and at the beginning of next month to help the most vulnerable consumers facing high energy prices.
The remaining 20 million euros will be allocated to micro, small, and medium sized enterprises and households to improve energy efficiency. This could benefit some 400 companies, but also around 4,000 buildings that should be renovated.
