Foreign investors will be involved in the potential project for construction of the second unit of the nuclear power plant in Krsko, according to Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob.

He added that within the next three years, Slovenia will define the conditions under which it will start investing in the new unit of NPP Krsko.

The decision on the project should be made before the elections in spring 2026, and a year later, it should be decided through a referendum.
