Starting on December 1, the price of natural gas for household customers and small businesses in Slovenia will be reduced by 15%. Additionally, GEN-I will lower electricity prices for small businesses, with an average tariff reduction of 11%. The price of electricity for household customers will remain regulated by the state at least until the end of February 2025.

These adjustments are part of GEN-I’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the financial strain on its customers amid energy market uncertainties. Despite challenges in the wholesale energy markets, the company remains committed to maintaining competitive prices, thanks to its extensive international trading infrastructure.

In a related development, at the end of October, GEN-I and its subsidiary, GEN-I Sonce, launched the Smart Self-Care Package. This innovative package includes a small-scale solar power plant combined with an energy storage system, enabling users to reduce their monthly electricity bills by up to 60%. Within the first three weeks of its launch, the company received hundreds of inquiries, indicating a strong demand for sustainable energy solutions.
