Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) involved in the European Single Intraday Coupling (SIDC) confirmed the successful completion of tests for the go-live of 15-minute MTU capacity allocation on the Croatian, Slovenian and Hungarian borders.
The expected go-live date is on January 9, 2024 (with the first delivery day January 10, 2024) aiming to enhance intraday trading between the three countries through SIDC, after which 15-min MTU cross-border capacity will be allocated in the continuous trading through SIDC instead of the current 60-min MTU (implicit (HR-SI, HR-HU) and also explicit (HR-SI)) and with that date it will be possible to trade 15-minute products on CROPEX Intraday market (in addition to the already existing 60-minute products).
