Romanian energy trader and developer Enero Furnizare is planning to develop solar projects with a total capacity of 1GW in Romania in 2022.
According to the statement from the company, it is currently developing five solar projects with more than 400 MW in total installed capacity in southern Romania. In addition to that, it plans to launch several more solar project with combined installed capacity of 600 MW.
The company said that it has already received approval for connection to the network of its first solar project located in Dolj county, southern Romania. The 71 MW solar power plant should be put into operation in late 2023.
Enero Furnizare was founded in 2002 as a consultancy and investment firm supporting the development of startups. During the last years, the company has expanded the scope of its activities with energy trading and energy projects development.
