Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica operates Romania’s sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda. The state holds 82.5 % stake in the company.
Nuclearelectrica concluded with E.ON Energie Romania a contract for the sale of wholesale electricity worth 49 million euros.
The electricity delivery period covers the month of February.
The granting of this incentive encourages access to European funds for investments in the objectives of the electricity/natural gas networks, aimed at implementing European policies for sustainable development, competitive economy and environmental protection through decarbonization.
