Electricity production in Bulgaria in August decreased by 2.6% compared to July, to 3,269 GWh, while consumption of electricity decreased by 2% monthly and amounted to 2,604 GWh.
Consumption of natural gas in August decreased by 6.7%, to 167 million cubic meters, while its production remained the same and amounted to 1 million cubic meters.
Compared to August 2022, the production of electricity decreased by 20.8%, while its consumption dropped by 1.2%.
Consumption of natural gas decreased by 22.8% compared to August 2022.
