Albania considers two new solar power projects totaling 148.5 MW

The Albanian Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has announced proposals for two new solar power projects from local companies. TI Solar Power has submitted plans for a 20.5 MW solar plant near Elbasan, in central Albania, while Solen Energy has expressed interest in developing a larger 128 MW facility in Fier, in the southwest.

The Ministry has invited stakeholders to provide feedback on both projects, with the consultation period open until the end of March.
