Montenegro: BSD Mont plans 84 MW hybrid power plant in Rožaje municipality

Montenegrin company BSD Mont has announced plans to build an 84 MW hybrid power plant in the northeastern municipality of Rožaje. The Montenegrin Government has granted approval for the preparation of the necessary technical documentation for the project.

The Cosovica power plant will consist of five wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.6 MW, along with eight solar power plants of varying sizes, collectively contributing an additional 51 MW of capacity.

Founded in October 2020, BSD Mont is based in Podgorica and specializes in engineering and technical consultancy services. The company is majority-owned by Hungarian BSD Invest Europe.
