The Ministry of Environmental Protection, Climate and Energy plans three application openings for co-financing the construction of new solar power plants in public buildings and parking. 20 million euro subsidies will be used for co-financing the construction of new solar power plants in public buildings and parking lots.
The public call is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The first deadline for submission is 15 April 2024, the next 2 September 2024, and the third 10 February 2025. If the funds are utilized before the last deadline, the call will be closed earlier.
The subject of the public call is the award of grants for co-financing the construction of new solar facilities for self-consumption in public buildings and structures located next to the public buildings. The subject of the call also includes facilities on paved surfaces of parking lots on construction sites owned by the municipality or the state.
Projects that can be financed include the purchase and installation of self-consumption solar facilities with a total installed capacity of at least 1 MW, in combination with or without battery storage. The grant financial incentive can only be awarded for new devices for self-consumption and storage of electricity.
The purchase and installation of a battery energy storage system can be subject to co-financing only in combination with an investment in the purchase and installation of photovoltaic panels.
