In December 2022, the Slovenian nuclear power plant Krško produced 543,838 MWh of gross electricity at the output of the generator, and delivered 519,582 MWh to the power grid, the operator of the power plant announced.
December production was 0.9 percent above the planned 515 thousand MWh. The availability factor was 100% and the power plant operated within the limits of technical specifications, the statement added.
In November, production was 14.6% lower than the planned 420,000 MWh and amounted to 377,442 MWh.
The Krško NPP was reconnected to the Slovenian grid on December 8, 2022, after completion of regular overhaul and completed testing of the new high-pressure turbine. After the renovation, the capacity of the power plant was increased by 10 MW. The renovation began on October 1.
