In November 2022, nuclear power plant Krsko, jointly owned by Slovenia and Croatia, produced 358,529.2 MWh of net electricity, which is 14.6 % less than planned (420,000 MWh) for this month. Last November, NPP Krsko generated 497,719.7 MWh of net electricity.
Lower production in November is due to extended downtime due to regular scheduled maintenance. Initially, it was planned that the overhaul, which started on 1 October, will be completed by the end of the month, but the power plant was reconnected to the network on 7 November instead.
The plant is working under the constraints of technical specifications and all security systems were operable. Both the availability and the capacity factors stood at 100 % and there were no reported technical problems.
