Net electricity generation in Slovenia in July 2023 reached 1,390 GWh, which is 36% higher compared to the same month 2022, according to the data from the Statistical Office. That is also 3% more than in June.
In July, production in thermal power plants increased by 11% compared to the same month in 2022, production in hydropower plants increased by 142% and the production at NPP Krsko was 4% higher.
At the same time, Slovenia imported 611 GWh (24 % less compared to July 2022) of electricity and exported 1,025 GWh (+35 %). Households consumed 227 GWh of electricity, 2% more compared to the previous month, while the consumption of commercial consumers amounted to 593 GWh (-2%).
