Net electricity production in Slovenia in March 2024 increased by 17% compared to the same month last year, to 1.375 GWh, according to the data from the Statistical Office. Compared to February 2024, total net electricity generation increased by 7%.
In March 2024, production in thermal power plants increased by 7% compared to the same month in 2023, production in hydropower plants increased by 44%, while production of nuclear power plants remained the same.
Slovenia imported 748 GWh in March (17% less compared to March 2023) and exported 983 GWh (+12%).
Household consumption reached 293 GWh, while the consumption of commercial consumers amounted to 602 GWh.
