In May 2021, nuclear power plant Krsko, jointly owned by Slovenia and Croatia, produced 417,150 MWh of net electricity, which is 7 % more than planned (390,000 MWh) for this month. The plant underwent planned 18-month cycle maintenance and was reconnected to the grid in early May. Last May, NPP Krsko generated 513,795 MWh of net electricity.
The plant is working under the constraints of technical specifications and all security systems were operable. Both the availability and the capacity factors stood at 100 % and there were no reported technical problems.
