Net electricity generation in Slovenia in May 2023 increased by 18% compared to the same month last year, reaching 1,379 GWh, according to the data from the country’s Statistical Office.
Production in thermal power plants decreased by 10% compared to the same month in 2022, production in hydropower plants increased by 63%, while the production at NPP Krsko was 2% higher.
In May 2023, Slovenia imported 749 GWh of electricity (14% less compared to May 2022) and exported 981 GWh (+8%).
At the same time, households consumed 251 GWh of electricity, 11.% less compared to the previous month, while the consumption of commercial consumers amounted to 596 GWh.
