Total net electricity generation in Slovenia in March decreased by 7% compared to the same month last year. In March 2023, net electricity generation in Slovenia reached 1,046 GWh, which is 9% more than in the previous month.
Production in thermal power plants decreased by 40% compared to the same month in 2022, production in hydropower plants increased by 62%, while the production at NPP Krsko was 2% higher.
In March 2023, Slovenia imported 905 GWh (22% more compared to March 2022) of electricity and exported 881 GWh (+30%).
Households consumed 315 GWh of electricity, while the consumption of commercial consumers amounted to 640 GWh.
