Serbian state-owned power utility EPS has initiated a tender valued at €128,000 for geodetic surveying services related to its 66 MW Kostolac wind project. The procurement includes geodetic surveys, the preparation of a subdivision project, a study for monitoring the verticality of wind generators, and consulting services from a geodetic expert.

In early 2024, EPS finalized an agreement for financing the construction of the Kostolac wind farm, which will be supported by a loan from the German KfW bank, alongside €30 million in EU grants and investment from EPS itself. This agreement is a significant milestone for the €144 million project, which marks EPS’s first venture into wind energy. The wind farm is anticipated to be commissioned by early 2025.
