The central Serbian municipality of Cicevac plans to build three to five small hydro power plants on the Juzna Morava river, news agency eKapija reported. The municipality has signed a protocol with an Italian company that would build the plants. Serbian engineering company Energoprojekt is preparing a feasibility study on the project, which should be completed by the middle of December, eKapija quoted Slavoljub Simic, an official at the municipality, as saying. He added that Cicevac has applied for an energy permit at the Energy Ministry and will start looking for funding once it receives it.
